This will enable the receiver to decipher what type of file it is.

2. WeTransfer

This is another free tool through which you can send large audio files for transcription. To start with, you have to agree to its terms and conditions. Once you agree to the terms, you can directly start adding your files. Put the email address to whom you want to send, put your email address, add a message and hit the transfer button and your files will be sent in one go. You also get the option of sending it as an email or as a link. It is up to you in what format you want to send.

3. Google drive

This is one of the most familiar options one can have. Google drive lets you store a lot of data and you can send your large audio files easily. You get the option of drive in your Gmail, once you click it you will be directed towards a dashboard. So there you will find the option of “Add”. You click on it and then click on the option of “file upload”.

This way you can upload the file. Once you upload it you can share that file with the transcriptionists just by entering their email addresses. But in order to access those files, they must have a Gmail account then only they will be able to download the file. With Google drive, you can upload up to 15 GB of data.

4. Streamfile

Streamfile is considered as one of the fastest and easy ways to transfer large audio files. You can send objects up to 5 TB with the help of this tool. To start with you need to register with its free plan. The free plan offers the upload limit of up to 300 Mb. Also, it has a one-day expiry on all the uploads. It provides a bandwidth of 1 GB monthly with the free plan.

All you need to do is enter the email address of the recipient, upload the file and hit on the stream now button. Your file will be directly sent to that particular person.

5. Wikisend

This software allows you to upload a file up to 100 Mb. So this one is good if your files are for a short period of time. You can directly choose a file and hit on the upload file button. There is no need to register or activate or install anything. You can start off with the uploading process directly without any hassle.

6. Mail Big File

As the name itself says that you can send a large file with this tool. You can start off with their free plan for which you do not have to pay even a single penny. You can also start adding your files directly by clicking on the Send Now option. Once you click it, you will be directed towards a page where you can add maximum 5 files. After adding the file, you will have to put the email address of the person to whom you want to send it. Also, put your email address and hit the Send File button.

Now that you have got so many options to send large audio files to the medical transcriptionists, you can easily keep sending your work to them. Some of the tools require registration and some don’t. These tools are for free but they also have their paid versions. So it is up to you whether to use the free one or to go for the paid one.
